Our location, the Congress Center Rosengarten is centrally located in Mannheim: the main train station and hotels, pubs and cafes, the art gallery and the National Theatre are all within easy walking distance.
The conference demonstrates how platform engineering is conceived and implemented as a product – and how a compelling developer experience is created that boosts productivity, quality, and satisfaction equally.
It's not about idealized scenarios, but about real-world experiences: What works? Where are the typical pitfalls? And how can existing platforms be strategically developed further? What role does Agentic AI play in this?
The CLC regularly gives me a chance to look beyond my own horizons. I always find talks and discussion partners on topics that are closely related to my main interests.
As a developer—I'm less active in the ops environment—I always find the topics covered at CLC unexpectedly interesting. In addition to the exciting keynotes and talks, I also get to have great conversations and network extensively.
CLC is one of the conferences I highly recommend everyone apply to, even if it's your first conference talk, and you are not based in Germany but speak either German or English! I also appreciate the CLC team's efforts to make it more diverse and inclusive for underrepresented communities in DevOps, SRE and Platform Engineering.
At CLC, visitors get a good overview of current topics related to DevOps, platform engineering, and process design for software delivery in general. There are only a few conferences that manage to shed light on topics from multiple perspectives, such as Dev and Ops.
As a participant, speaker, and exhibitor, I always enjoy the CLC as a whole package: technically interesting presentations paired with sufficient breaks and a supporting program for informal exchanges that benefit everyone.
