Scattered documentation, domain-specific language and hidden knowledge leave developers frustrated, while platform teams struggle to understand what devs really need. Treating platforms as products is a start, but treating them like open source projects, allowing developers to contribute and maintain features - that's when real collaboration starts.

In my roles as DevRel and Platform Engineer, I have years of experience working with highly bureaucratic organisations helping to improve developer experience and adoption.

In this talk, I'll share concrete steps to identify contribution opportunities, boost adoption, and measure engagement.

Basic understanding of Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and what they are for.

Platform teams often struggle with low engagement. This talk provides concrete strategies to inner source platforms, giving teams actionable steps rather than abstract advice. Attendees leave knowing how to identify contribution points, measure engagement, and maintain contributions, which can accelerate adoption of internal platforms across organisations.
