Get actively involved in CLC!
The CLC is the conference for platform engineering, developer experience, and modern software delivery. It will take place on November 11 and 12, 2026—including a workshop day beforehand—once again at the Rosengarten Mannheim.
For CLC 2026, we are looking for practical presentations from people who build, operate, and develop platforms—from real projects, with real learnings.
Who should submit a talk or workshop?
We welcome submissions from:
- Platform Engineers & Platform Teams
- Developers & Software Architects
- DevOps, SRE and Observability Engineers
- Cloud & Infrastructure Engineers
- Tech Leads, Staff Engineers & Engineering Managers
- Open Source Maintainers and Contributors

What makes a good CLC talk?
What we are looking for:
- ✅ Case studies from real projects
- ✅ Clear learnings, decisions, and trade-offs
- ✅ Experience, even if not everything went perfectly
- ✅ Architectural and operational decisions
- ✅ Technical depth with practical relevance
What we're not looking for:
- ❌ Marketing or product pitches
- ❌ Pure tool demos without context
- ❌ Basic tutorials without practical relevance
Formats & Language
- Lecture (approx. 45 minutes, including Q&A)
- Workshop (full-day; approx. 6 to 7 hours)
- Abstracts (approx. 400 to 700 characters)
- Additional information (long abstracts, slides, essays, etc.) is welcome.
- Language: German or English
- In-person event in Mannheim
This is how the Call for Proposals works
- Submission period: until April 21, 2026
- Review by the Program Advisory Board
- Publication of the program: end of May
The selection is based on content. Where possible, we use an anonymous review process.
Tips for a successful submission:
- Describe the problem, not just the solution.
- Explain why you made this decision.
- Identify target audience & experience level.
- Clearly highlight the added value for participants.

As speakers, you will receive a flat rate for hotel accommodation and travel expenses for a second-class train ticket within Germany. You will also have free access to the presentations on both days of the conference. Workshop trainers will receive additional remuneration. Speakers who need to fly in from abroad should contact the organizers in advance regarding the financing of their travel expenses.
