This is how the CLC conference programme is created:

Submissions for the call for proposals must be reviewed and evaluated. Additional speakers must be requested for keynotes and other important topics. Finally, talks and workshops must be coordinated and sorted in terms of timing so that a "well-rounded" programme can be put together.

Here you can see who is behind the programme:


Timo Derstappen

Timo Derstappen is the founder and CTO of Giant Swarm in Cologne. With more than 15 years of experience as a software developer and architect, he has been working with containers and cloud infrastructures on a daily basis for the past decade. He is also an active participant in the associated ecosystem. Timo is a passionate advocate of cross-functional teams and complete automation.

Miriam Greis

Miriam Greis is Principal Integration Architect at adorsys GmbH & Co. KG. With a PhD in human-computer interaction, her technical focus was originally on front-end development. However, she quickly discovered her enthusiasm for APIs and the continuous improvement and automation of processes. Miriam's areas of expertise are API experience & operations, CI/CD, developer experience and team topologies.

Sandra Parsick

Sandra Parsick is a freelance software developer in the Java environment. She has been involved in agile software development in various roles since 2008. Her focus is on Java enterprise applications, agile methods, software craftsmanship and the automation of software development processes.

Matthias Parbel

Matthias Parbel (@matthiasparbel) originally trained as a chemical engineer, but has been working as an IT editor since 1996. He currently works for heise medien for the magazine iX and, in particular, the online channel heise Developer, where he contributes his experience in planning and executing conferences.

Steffen Schluff

Steffen Schluff has been working in the IT industry for over 25 years. During this time, he has worked as a software developer, project manager and team leader, passing on his experience through consulting and training. He is passionate about software craftsmanship and the question of how technology can be used to generate business value and build high-performing organisations.

René Schönfeldt

René Schönfeldt holds a degree in computer science and works in the editorial department at dpunkt.verlag, where he oversees authors and books related to software development. His main areas of focus are programming languages, tools, and frameworks.

Bastian Spanneberg

Bastian Spanneberg has been working in the IT industry for 20 years. After realising early on that there is more to a successful product than just good code, he has increasingly devoted himself to all aspects of software delivery, site reliability engineering and platform engineering, working with development teams to lay the foundations for stable products and systems.
